HOW TO MAKE A TOMATO CAGE CHRISTMAS TREE<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Bend the Ends<\/strong>

    Turn your tomato cage upside down. Bend the ends out and toward the ground. A rounded end is much safer than pointed ends.\"Tomato<\/p> <\/li>

  2. Gather the Ends<\/strong>

    Start the locking of a cable tie. Join the 3 ends of the cage together and slip the cable tie over it. \"Tomato<\/p> <\/li>

  3. Connect the ends<\/strong>

    Tighten the cable tie to bring the ends together. Snip off the excess tie. \"Tomato<\/p> <\/li>

  4. Attach Garland<\/strong>

    Wrap the garland around the tree diagonally. I used 2 bundles of 12′ Garland<\/a> from The Home Depot. Two bundles is sufficient, but 3 would be better. I preferred that my tree was bear at the bottom since it was going to be placed in the lawn. \"Tomato<\/p> <\/li>

  5. Secure the Garland<\/strong>

    Once I was satisfied with the placement of the garland, I secured it to the cage using cable ties. Remember to snip off the excess cable tie as you go.\"Tomato<\/p> <\/li>

  6. Get Your Solar String Lights<\/strong>

    Unbox and untie your solar string lights.\"Tomato<\/p> <\/li>

  7. Attach Your Solar String Lights<\/strong>

    I’ve attached my lights in a netted fashion (ridiculous idea), a diagonal run and vertically. Of the 3 methods, vertical is the most evenly distributed and aesthetically pleasing. The lights are attached to the cage at the top and bottom points of contact with cable ties.\"Tomato<\/p> <\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n
